This blog was provided an abundance of information to guide individuals with disabilities in becoming independent dwellers. I was most impressed with the disabilityinfo.gov site. This site provided vital information on the ABILITY house program as well as a link to information on housing discrimination. The link to the Fair Housing Act booklet could greatly benefit individuals with disabilities by informing them of their rights. The sight also has a wonderful link to assist individuals in filing a complaint. Overall this blog will provide individuals with disabilities vital information needed to successful complete their journey to live independently.
